Our Inspiration
The name Ariaqua was inspired by two words. It is a combination of “Ari” and “aqua”. “Ari” is a Hebrew name, which means Lion. Lions represent strength and fearlessness in the Hebrew culture, and it is the symbol for the tribe of Judah. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is from the tribe of Judah, and He is the Lion and the Lamb of God.
The word “Aqua” means water. In the book of Matthew 14:22-33, we read the story of Jesus walking on water towards His disciples during a raging storm. This was a great demonstration of His power and Divinity. The amazing part is that Peter, as long as he kept his eyes on Jesus, was also able to walk on water too. Our Lord Jesus is able to help us overcome the storms of life. By believing in Him we receive power to rise above any challenges we are facing.

The Butterfly
We use the symbol of the Butterfly as a metaphor for transformation. Butterflies transform from caterpillars that once crawled on the ground to beautiful butterflies flying in the air. Butterflies represent freedom and transformation, which is exactly what we experience when we behold the beauty of Jesus Christ.

Our Story
Ariaqua Creations was founded in 2014 by a family on a mission to bring comfort and peace to individuals going thru various challenges. The idea for our company came after a period of profound grief and loss after coping with the passing of our father from cancer.
It was during this devastating time that we received a revelation about Jesus Christ that not only comforted us, but gave us a sense of purpose and a deep desire to help others.
Over the last 10 years our small family owned and operated company has embarked on our dream to uplift and encourage others by creating our line of beautiful hand-blown glass votive candle holders.
These candle holders are small enough to place anywhere in your home or office. They serve as a gentle reminder that no matter what you are facing, Jesus is your light, comfort, and peace.
Our prayer is that every time our customers look at our candle, they would feel encouraged and blessed. In the times we are living in now, so much darkness has covered the earth. Many people are experiencing depression, anxiety, financial hardship, family strife, health challenges and unprecedented levels of stress in various areas of life. We truly need the Lord to help us get through these difficult times. We hope our products will help you remember you are not alone in your struggles, Jesus is there with you.
